Lost in Translation (or maybe just in pronunciation)
A friend said "ciao" to me one night as he was leaving...the next time I saw him, I told him to save it for others, that I thought it was pretentious. He claims he wasn't trying to be Italian, but was using a Chinese expression that means something like "I am going."
Another lesson for today: Na uh nay ka da lee ka rain. That is an approxomation of "I love you" in Tamil.
So many languages here I don't know where to begin!
